TuskaMind Agreements & Terms
TuskaMind's platform agreements, privacy framework, and Business Associate Agreement have been developed and reviewed with HIPAA counsel. The applicable agreements are incorporated into the TuskaMind onboarding and contracting process. This page provides a plain-language overview; the executed agreement governs in the event of any inconsistency.
The agreement
Use of TuskaMind is governed by the applicable TuskaMind service agreement, privacy terms, and any other agreements accepted during onboarding or subscription. TuskaMind's legal and HIPAA framework has been reviewed with HIPAA counsel, including the platform's Business Associate Agreement and handling of protected health information.
HIPAA & Business Associate Agreement
TuskaMind provides an integrated Business Associate Agreement prepared by HIPAA counsel for organizations using the platform to create, receive, maintain, or transmit protected health information. The BAA is incorporated into the applicable onboarding and contracting process and establishes the parties' responsibilities for safeguarding PHI under HIPAA.
Accounts and access
TuskaMind accounts are intended for authorized users only. Access is controlled through individual user credentials, organization membership, role-based permissions, authentication controls, and session security measures. Users are responsible for protecting their credentials and using access only for authorized business and clinical purposes.
Organizations are responsible for assigning appropriate user roles and promptly removing or updating access when a user's responsibilities or relationship with the organization changes.
Fees and billing
Subscription fees, implementation terms, Revenue Cycle Management fees, and any applicable add-on services are described in the customer's selected plan, order form, Pilot Partner Program terms, or other applicable agreement.
TuskaMind may offer different service levels based on practice size, functionality, billing services, AI features, or other selected services. Applicable fees and payment terms are disclosed before purchase or enrollment.
Acceptable use
TuskaMind may be used only for lawful, authorized healthcare, administrative, operational, and related business purposes.
Users may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user or organization's information, interfere with platform security, misuse patient information, introduce malicious software, abuse platform resources, reverse engineer protected components where prohibited, or use TuskaMind in a manner that violates applicable law, privacy obligations, or contractual requirements.
Each organization remains responsible for the lawful and appropriate use of TuskaMind by its authorized users.
Protected health information
TuskaMind is designed for behavioral-health organizations that handle sensitive health information. Access to PHI is restricted according to user permissions and organizational relationships. Customers remain responsible for configuring access appropriately for their workforce and complying with their own HIPAA and professional obligations.
TuskaMind's handling of PHI is governed by the applicable Business Associate Agreement and privacy/security terms.
AI-assisted features
TuskaMind may provide AI-assisted functionality, including documentation support, workflow assistance, and clinical or administrative suggestions. AI-generated content is intended to assist authorized professionals and does not replace professional judgment.
Clinicians and other authorized professionals remain responsible for reviewing, approving, editing, or rejecting AI-generated content before it becomes part of the clinical or operational record where applicable.
Term and termination
Subscription term, renewal, cancellation, suspension, and termination rights are governed by the applicable TuskaMind agreement or order form.
Following termination, access to the platform and customer data is handled according to the applicable agreement, retention requirements, security obligations, and any legally required record-preservation responsibilities.
Data access and records
Organizations retain responsibility for their clinical and business records. TuskaMind provides authorized access to information maintained within the platform according to account status, user permissions, contractual terms, and applicable retention requirements.
Data export, record retention, account closure, and post-termination access are governed by the applicable agreement and legal requirements.
Limitation of liability
Limitations of liability, disclaimers, indemnification obligations, and available remedies are governed exclusively by the applicable TuskaMind agreement.

Changes to agreements
TuskaMind may update its agreements, policies, or service terms as the platform, applicable law, or regulatory requirements evolve. Where required, customers will be provided notice or asked to review and accept updated terms.
